Keeping your pets groomed

Albino Hedgehog Eye Troubles

My 7th grade daughter's science teacher has a 3 year old albino hedgehog named "Bino" that got into a little trouble. He is living with another hedgehog that got a little to close to his face and scratched its eye which became infected. By the time I examined Bino the eye needed to be removed, also called an enucleation. Here are some pictures of the surgery.
